TJ was born and raised in the state of Oklahoma. He graduated with his B.S. and M.S. in Accounting from Oklahoma State University and is currently a CPA. TJ began his career as an auditor at Arthur Andersen in Oklahoma City and later joined EY where he was promoted to Manager. After EY, TJ joined the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) where he spent 11 years as a regulator with a focus internal controls. TJ inspected audits of accounting firms all over the globe and was promoted to Associate Director and served in various leadership roles within the organization. After the PCAOB, TJ joined Chesapeake Energy Corporation as the Director or Operations Accounting and Internal Controls. TJ recently joined Accenture, the largest consulting firm in the world, and leads business development for the firm in the state of Oklahoma.
TJ is married with two teenagers and lives in Edmond. He serves on the Board for Skyline Urban Ministries, is a mentor for the Women’s Energy Network in Oklahoma City, and speaks regularly to students at Oklahoma State. Although TJ has not served in the military, his father (Air Force) and two grandfathers (Navy) served in Vietnam and World War II, respectively.
